Personal Data Transmissions Are Encrypted When you enter information through Biotor web site, all your personal information is protected. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the industry standard, for encrypting all personal information, including answers to questionnaires and laboratory testing results.

Biotor understands that many of you are concerned about cookies. We provide this Cookie Policy Statement to let you know how we use this technology. Biotor uses cookies only to secure comunications between you the ("user") and the server that stores your information.

Biotor may disclose any information in its possession, including, without limitation, information about users, internet transmissions and website activity in order to comply with a court order, subpoena, summons, discovery request, warrant, statute, regulation or governmental request, to protect Biotor or others from harm, and/or to ensure the proper operation of the Services. Biotor has no obligation to notify any person, including the user about whom information is sought, that Biotor has provided the information.

Notice Of Privacy Practices

Biotor, in all areas related to its business, intends to maintain the privacy of protected health and financial information and provide its patients, clients and customers with notice of our privacy practices with respect to protected health information.

Biotor provides its Notice of Privacy Practices to every patient, client and customer who supplies such protected health and financial information as a result of a direct service relationship. This notice of Privacy Practices goes into action at time of user registration.

Biotor shall make its Notice of Privacy Practices hard copy available to any member of the public wishing to review it for purposes of evaluating the decision to form a direct service relationship with Biotor. The request for hard copies must be made by sending an electronic mail to PatientCare@Biotor.com.

When a customer, client, or user receives the Notice of Privacy Practices from Biotor, the recipient will be asked to sign a copy and mail back to Biotor or by registering at Biotor.COM.

Any complaints relating to privacy practices should be directed to Biotor, P.O. Box 102367, Denver, CO 80250. Complaints must be in writing, must name the business, describe the acts or omissions that are subject to the complaint, and must be postmarked within 30 days of the user becoming aware of the violation.

Biotor may disclose certain health and financial information to provide services requested by users, to collect payment for such services, and to process product orders, or to obtain laboratory testing results in case of user is requesting the Metabolic Assessment Program or Metabolic Assessment Regimen.

When the client or customer is not present, Biotor determines whether the disclosure of protected health and financial information is necessary to provide the service for the user, and proceeds in a professional manner providing only that information to only those persons necessarily involved for the completion of the service for the healthcare provider or user.

Your records hard copy are kept by your health care provider. If you, the ("user") need a copy of your records. You may make a request to your healthcare provider to accommodate that request.
